Little League International has just revised boundary rules which will now allow a child to play for a league if his/her school is physically located within the league boundaries, even if the child lives outside of those boundaries.
There are currently several magnet schools with Powell Little League boundaries and previously, if a child attending one of those (such as Buckman, Sunnyside, Winterhaven, etc) did not live within the league borders, the child would not be able to play with his/her schoolmates. This has now been rectified- additional information and background can be found in this Little League International video.
