Hi Powell Little League families,
In an effort to build up our pitcher and catcher skills in our
league, we are trying something new this winter. We are offering an
indoor practice space available once a week just for pitchers and
catchers to get in practice time. Anyone is welcome, but it is limited
to only working on these 2 positions. Please check out the following
information and join us if it fits your child!
Who: Baseball and softball players who are interested in working on their skills at the positions of pitcher or catcher
Where: Vestal School Gym - 161 NE 82nd Ave. (between Burnside & Glisan)
When: Wednesdays, from Jan. 2 to Mar. 6, 6:00 - 7:15pm
Cost: We are asking a one-time donation of $10 per participant (covers as many times as you want to come over the 10 weeks)
We will have a few coaches there to help out and we may occasionally
bring in some "expert" help, but the idea is mostly to provide an open
gym time for independent practice. Since we cannot guarantee an even
number of pitchers and catchers, pitchers also need to be prepared to
bring an adult to catch for them.
