Powell Little League has had a great season of softball & baseball for our kids and their families!
It is almost time to end the season but before we do please join us for our Annual Closing Day Festivities on Saturday, June 15th at Sewallcrest Park at SE 31st & Stephens at 4:30pm.
Powell LL is proud of it's community and will celebrate the accomplishments of the kids and coaches by announcing our All-Star teams. We will share news of the upcoming post season games, plans for the summer and the fall.
If you haven't had it yet, encourage your team to have your end of the season party in the Park. Even if you have had your party, this is a great place to reunite!
You could bring a picnic dinner but we will be selling a Hot Dog Meal Deal and cooking them on BBQs in the Park. We could use some helpers to cook hot dogs, serve and provide bbqs. Volunteer by following this link.

Sweet Treats will also be available into evening as the Game Under the Lights for the Major Baseball Teams begin! We will have time for a coaches & managers and possibly a softball game before the lights turn on too.
Got gear? Powell Little League will be starting a Gear Swap for next season. Bring your in "pretty good shape" gear to the Gear Swap table and we will store it for next year's players to use. We can use anything from bats to tees to cleats to socks and pants to new shoe laces. Have a question about the swap, ask PLL Secretary Cindi Carrell at 503-232-0880 or ccarrell@gmail.com. We'd also like to find someone who has a covered porch where we can place equipment to swap when the season opens next spring. Contact Cindi if you might be that person. We also will have an equipment, uniform, and first aid kit return station set up.
