Dust off your glove and find your cap, it's time to play ball!
What:
Player assessments are opportunities to get players warmed up and show some basic skills to the managers of the teams at each division. Assessments are an important part of achieving our goal of creating competitively balanced teams.
Who:
All registered players must attend at least one session of assessments (and may attend twice) if they are going into or staying in the following divisions:
Baseball: Minors, Majors and 50/70
Softball: Minors, Majors and Juniors
Tee Ball and Farm Ball Players do not attend assessments.
The Details:
Sunday, February 9th
10:00 am - 11:30: Majors, 50/70 and Juniors*
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Minors*
Sunday, February 23rd
10:00 am - 11:30 am: Majors, 50/70 and Juniors*
11:30 am - 1:00 pm: Minors*
*Note: While all players may attend assessments starting at either 10:00 or 11:30, attending during the time allocated for your division will help assessments run more efficiently.
Where:
Franklin High School Gym (5404 SE Woodward)
Clothing:
Players come dressed ready to play ball. Bring your glove, tennis shoes (no cleats) and a hat. You may also bring your own helmet. For safety reasons, please leave your bat at home.
Paperwork:
Parents, if you have not already done so, please turn in all paperwork: Medical release forms, birth certificate, and 3 proofs of residence (ODL, Passenger Registration, 1 utility bill dated Feb 1, 2013-Feb 1, 2014).
